Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at Blankenberge train station. Exit the station and head towards the main street, Zeedijk. Turn left and continue walking along the beach promenade until you reach the end of the beach. From there, continue straight onto the Langestraat. Follow Langestraat until you reach the junction with the N31 road. Cross the road and continue on Langestraat, which becomes the Brugse Steenweg. Stay on this road until you reach the junction with the N50. You will see signs directing you to Bruges. After around 5 kilometers, you will arrive at the historic center of Bruges. Once in Bruges, follow the signs towards Burg Square, where De Burg is located at Burg 15.

  • Public Transport

    From Blankenberge, take the train from Blankenberge train station to Bruges. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges station, head towards the exit and find the bus stop. Take bus number 1 towards 'Brugge - Centrum'. Get off at the 'Burg' stop. After getting off, you will be very close to De Burg, located at Burg 15. Just walk a short distance towards Burg Square.
