Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by entering your GPS destination as 'Begijnhofstraat 8, 8500 Kortrijk'. From the center of Bruges, take the E403 motorway towards Kortrijk. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit for Kortrijk. Continue on N43 until you reach the center of Kortrijk. Once in Kortrijk, follow local signs for the Beguinage Chapel. There is street parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

• Train

  For those choosing public transportation, take a train from Bruges to Kortrijk. Trains depart from Bruges Station regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kortrijk Station, exit the station and head towards the bus station located just outside. You can take Bus 4 or Bus 5 towards 'Kortrijk Centrum'. Get off at the 'Begijnhof' stop, which is a short walk from the Beguinage Chapel. The bus fare is approximately €2.00.

• Bus

  If you prefer a direct bus route from Bruges, check the local bus schedules for services to Kortrijk. The journey might take longer, depending on the route and stops, but you can expect to pay around €3.00 for a one-way ticket. Once you arrive at Kortrijk, follow the above instructions to reach the Beguinage Chapel.

• Walking

  Should you find yourself close to the center of Kortrijk, the Beguinage Chapel is located within walking distance from the main square. Simply head south from the square, following 'Begijnhofstraat', and you will arrive at the chapel in about 10 minutes.
