Getting There

    If you are in the central area of Kortrijk, start at the Grote Markt (Great Market Square), which is a popular tourist spot. From the Grote Markt, head southwest on the Kortrijkstraat towards the Burgemeester J. De Deckerplein. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the Begijnhofstraat. Turn left onto Begijnhofstraat. After a short walk of about 200 meters, you will find the Remnants of the Medieval Castle of the Counts of Flanders on your right side. It is situated at Begijnhofstraat, 8500 Kortrijk.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Kortrijk Railway Station, take bus line 1 towards 'Bissegem'. Board the bus at the station and stay on for 3 stops, approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Begijnhof', which is located very close to the castle. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance down Begijnhofstraat, and you will see the Remnants of the Medieval Castle of the Counts of Flanders on your right.
