Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the A10/E40 highway. From Bruges, head east on N31 and merge onto the A10/E40 towards Ghent. Continue on the A10/E40 for approximately 30-35 minutes. Take exit 9 for E17 toward Antwerpen/Gent and merge onto E17. After about 10 minutes, take exit 9A toward N9/Gent. Continue on N9, and follow signs for the city center. As you approach Ghent, follow the signs for 'Centrum'. Once you reach the city center, navigate to Kouter 172, where Hotel Falligan is located. Be prepared for potential parking fees in the city center.

• Train

  If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train from Bruges to Ghent. Trains operate frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghent St. Pieters railway station, exit the station and take tram line 1 towards 'Hogent'. Get off at the 'Kouter' stop, which is the closest stop to Hotel Falligan. The hotel is a short walk from the tram stop. The ticket for a train journey costs around €9-€12, and a tram ticket costs approximately €3.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus from Bruges to Ghent. Check the schedule for bus lines that operate between these cities, such as FlixBus or De Lijn. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes to 1 hour. After arriving at the Ghent bus station, take tram line 1 from the nearby tram stop and get off at the 'Kouter' stop. The hotel is within walking distance from there. The bus ticket price may vary from €5-€10, depending on the provider.
