    If you're starting from the historic center of Ghent, head towards the Gravensteen Castle. From the castle, walk along the Sint-Veerleplein and then take the exit onto the Korenlei. Continue along the Korenlei until you reach the bridge at the end. Cross the bridge and immediately turn left onto the Haddingestraat. Follow this street until it intersects with the Geraard de Duivelhof. Maaseikplein will be on your left, just a short walk from this intersection.

    Begin your journey at the 'Gent - Dampoort' tram station. Take tram number 1 towards 'Gent - UZ'. Get off at the 'Gent - Sint-Pietersstation' stop. Upon exiting the tram, Maaseikplein is just a short walk away; head west along Geraard de Duivelhof, and you will find the square ahead.
