Walking
If you're in the Historic Center, start by heading towards the 'Korenmarkt'. From there, locate the 'Saint Nicholas Church' which is a prominent landmark. Walk away from the church towards the 'Graslei' and 'Korenlei' area. Continue straight until you reach the 'Botermarkt' square. Ghent City Hall is located at Botermarkt 1, right at the square. The building is hard to miss due to its grand architecture.

Public Transport (Tram)
If you are further away from the City Hall, you can take a tram. Head to the nearest tram stop in the Historic Center, such as 'Korenmarkt'. From there, take tram number 1 or 4 towards 'Gent Dampoort'. Get off at 'Botermarkt' stop. From the tram stop, you'll see Ghent City Hall directly in front of you at Botermarkt 1. A single tram ticket costs around €3.
