Walking
If you are starting from the Bruges train station, exit the station and walk straight down the 'Stationsplein' (Station Square). Continue onto 'Willem de Zwijgerstraat' and then take a left onto 'Hoogstraat'. Follow 'Hoogstraat' until you reach 'Markt' square, which will be directly in front of you. The walk will take around 20-25 minutes.
Walking
From the Belfry of Bruges, head south down 'Markt' square towards the 'Burg' square. After crossing 'Burg', continue straight until you reach the end of 'Markt'. You will see the prominent buildings and cafes surrounding the square. This walk will take about 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are near the 'Zand' area, you can take bus number 1 or 6 from 'Zand' bus stop. Disembark at 'Markt' stop which is directly in front of the square. The bus ride will take about 5 minutes, plus a few minutes for walking to the bus stop.
Walking
From the Church of Our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk), head north on 'Mariastraat', and take a right onto 'Korte Zilverstraat'. Continue straight until you reach 'Markt'. The walk will take around 15 minutes.
