If you're starting from the Markt square, head northeast towards the Burg square, keeping the Belfry of Bruges to your right. Continue straight onto Steenstraat, which will take you through the shopping district. Once you reach the end of Steenstraat, turn left onto Mariastraat. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Vlamingstraat, where you should turn right. The Monk will be on your right at Vlamingstraat 37.
Public Transport
From the Bruges train station, take bus number 1 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Burg' stop. From there, walk straight towards Markt square. Continue as described above: head northeast towards the Burg square, then onto Steenstraat, left onto Mariastraat, and right onto Vlamingstraat. The Monk will be on your right at Vlamingstraat 37.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near the Markt square. From there, cycle down the Langestraat, which will lead you out towards the canals. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vlamingstraat. Turn left onto Vlamingstraat, and you'll find The Monk at number 37 on your left.
