Train
From Brussels Central Station, take a train towards 'Gare de Waterloo'. You can check the train schedule at the station or online. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Gare de Waterloo', exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenue de la Gare) on your left. From there, walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route du Lion. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Lion's Mound on your right.
Bus
From Brussels, go to the Brussels Midi Station. Take the TEC Bus 130 towards 'Braine-l'Alleud'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Alight at the stop 'Lion's Mound' (Mémorial 1815). From the bus stop, you will see Lion's Mound directly in front of you. It is a short walk to the entrance.
Metro and Bus
Take the Brussels Metro Line 2 from any station towards 'Simonis'. Change at 'Brussels North Station' to catch the train to 'Waterloo'. After arriving at 'Waterloo', exit the train station and take TEC Bus 141 towards 'Braine-l'Alleud'. Get off at 'Lion's Mound' stop. The monument will be a short walk from the bus stop.
