If you are driving, head towards Dinant from any location in County of Namur. Use the N4 road or follow the signs for Dinant. Once you arrive in Dinant, look for signs directing you to the Citadelle de Dinant. You will need to drive along Rue des Combattants, which leads directly to the parking area near the citadel. Please note that parking may incur a fee, which is typically around €2-€4 per hour.

Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Citadelle de Dinant by train, find your nearest train station in County of Namur and board a train bound for Dinant. The journey from Namur to Dinant takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the Dinant train station, exit the station and walk towards the river. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk to the citadel, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. If you choose to walk, follow Rue de la Station and then take Chem. de la Citadelle.

If you prefer to travel by bus, check the local bus schedules for routes heading to Dinant. Once you arrive at the Dinant bus station, you can walk to the Citadelle de Dinant. The citadel is approximately a 25-minute walk from the bus station. Follow Rue de la Station and then Chem. de la Citadelle, which will take you directly to the entrance of the citadel.
