De Garre is best approached on foot due to its location in a narrow pedestrian alley. From the Markt (main square), walk southeast towards Breidelstraat. Look for a small,conspicuously narrow alleyway on the right-hand side; a sign for De Garre marks the entrance. The alley is located to the southeast of the Grote Markt. There are no costs involved in walking.

If arriving by bus at 't Zand Square, walk east towards the Markt. Continue onto Breidelstraat and look for the small alleyway, De Garre, on the right. A single bus ticket costs €3 if purchased in advance or €3.50 if purchased on the bus.
