Walking
If you are in central De Haan, start by heading north on the main street, Vosseslag. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the N34 road. Cross the road and continue walking straight. After about 2 kilometers, you will see signs for the train station. Follow the signs to the De Haan train station, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. Once at the station, take the train towards Ypres. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Ypres train station, exit and turn left onto the main street. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach the John McCrae Dressing Station WW1 Flanders Fields Fame located at 8900 Ypres.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in De Haan. Start your ride heading north on Vosseslag and follow the same route as the walking directions until you reach the N34 road. Cross over and continue straight. The distance is around 6 kilometers. After cycling for about 30 minutes, you will reach Ypres. Upon reaching Ypres, follow the signs to the train station and then to the John McCrae Dressing Station, which is about a 10-minute ride from the station.
