    Start at the Dinant train station. Exit the station and head north on Rue de la Station. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de la Meuse, following the river. Walk along the riverbank for about 15 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful views of the Meuse River and the cliffs. Keep an eye out for the impressive Collegiate Church of Notre Dame on your left. As you approach the end of the riverwalk, look for signs directing you towards the 'Chateau Thierry' ruins. Follow the signs up the hill. The ruins will be on your left, and you will see a path that leads up to them.

    If you are starting from the main square (Place Reine Elisabeth), walk towards the riverfront. Head south on Rue du Collège and take a left onto Rue de la Meuse. Follow the river until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rue de la Station and continue towards the train station. You will pass by the same river views. After about 20 minutes of walking, follow the signs up the hill towards 'Chateau Thierry' ruins. The path will lead you directly to the entrance of the ruins.

You will see clear signage directing you to the ruins, which are situated on a hill.
