If you are driving from Ghent, take the E40 motorway towards Bruges. Follow the signs for Bruges, and take exit 8 for Brugge. Continue straight onto the N31, which will lead you to the city. Once in Bruges, follow the signs to the city center. Park at one of the parking garages such as 'Parking Centrum' or 'Parking 't Zand'. From there, walk towards Katelijnestraat, which is just a short 10-minute walk.

To reach Bruges by train from Ghent, head to the Ghent St. Peter's Station (Gent-Sint-Pieters). From there, take a direct train to Bruges (Brugge). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit and follow the signs to the bus stop where you can take bus number 1 or 3, which will take you directly to the city center. Get off at the 'Brugge Markt' stop and it's a short 5-minute walk to Katelijnestraat.
