From Ghent city center, head to the nearest tram stop, 'Korenmarkt'. Take tram line 1 in the direction of 'Gentbrugge' and ride for about 8 minutes until you reach the 'Gentbrugge' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 3, which goes towards 'Zwijnaarde'. Travel for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Zwijnaarde' stop. Walk 5 minutes to the northeast until you reach the intersection with 'Beneluxweg', and continue walking for another 5 minutes until you arrive at the Foundation Portal Van Vlaanderen.

If you are starting from St. Bavo's Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head towards the 'Gravensteen' castle. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Korenmarkt' square. From there, follow the instructions for public transport as outlined above, or continue walking along the 'Schoenmarkt' street, then turn into 'Burgstraat' and head towards 'Kouter'. Keep walking straight until you reach the 'Gentbrugge' area, where you can find 'Beneluxweg' and arrive at Foundation Portal Van Vlaanderen after approximately 30 minutes of walking.
