If you are near the city center of Hasselt, start at the Hasselt Market Square (Grote Markt). Head north on Kapelstraat towards Zuivelmarkt. Continue straight as the street becomes Maastrichterstraat. At the end of Maastrichterstraat, turn right onto Koninginnelaan. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Herkenrodestraat. Continue straight until you reach the train station (Hasselt Station). From there, take a train to Leuven, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven Station, exit the station and turn left onto Diestsevest. Walk straight for about 500 meters, then turn right onto Kapucijnenvoer. Continue walking for about 300 meters until you see the Botanical Garden on your left at Kapucijnenvoer 30.

From the Hasselt City Center, find the nearest bus stop (e.g., near the Hasselt Market Square). Take bus number 5 or 11 towards Leuven. The journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Leuven, get off at the 'Kapucijnenvoer' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 200 meters down Kapucijnenvoer, and you will find the Botanical Garden on your right at Kapucijnenvoer 30.
