Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hautes Fagnes. Take the N62 road towards Waimes. Continue on the N62 for about 10 kilometers. As you approach Waimes, you will see signs for Nez Napoleon. Follow these signs, and you will find a parking area near the attraction. Parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some change.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Hautes Fagnes. You can take the bus line 5 towards Waimes. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Waimes' stop. From there, Nez Napoleon is about a 20-minute walk. Exit the bus stop and follow the main road (Rue de l'Eglise) south. After a few blocks, turn left onto Chemin du Nez Napoleon, which will lead you directly to the attraction.

• Walking

  If you’re already in the vicinity and prefer walking, Nez Napoleon is accessible via walking trails from various points in Hautes Fagnes. There are marked paths that lead to the site. Ensure you have a map or a GPS-enabled device, as some trails may not have clear signage. The walk can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  Cycling is a great way to explore Hautes Fagnes. From the main paths in the area, locate the cycling routes that lead towards Waimes. The ride to Nez Napoleon from central Hautes Fagnes is about 8 kilometers and is relatively flat, making it suitable for most riders. Ensure your bike is in good condition and be aware of any bike rental costs if you do not have your own.
