    If you are in the center of Kortrijk, start by heading towards the Kortrijk train station. Once you reach the station, exit and follow the signs directing you towards the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, take bus number 10 towards Bruges. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bruges bus terminal, exit the bus and head towards the main square, Markt. From the Markt, walk straight down Breidelstraat for about 5 minutes until you reach the Burg Square where the Bruges City Hall is located at Burg 12.

  • Train

    From the Kortrijk train station, purchase a ticket to Bruges. Trains run frequently, typically every 30 minutes, and the journey lasts about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit and head to the bus terminal across the street. Take bus number 10 towards the city center. Get off at the stop closest to Markt. From there, walk towards the Burg Square, which is about a 5-minute walk straight ahead. The Bruges City Hall is located at Burg 12.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Kortrijk. Head out of Kortrijk towards the N50, following the cycle path signs towards Bruges. The route is around 30 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you enter Bruges, follow the signs to the city center, and continue until you reach the Burg Square.
