Walking
If you are in the center of Kortrijk, start at the Kortrijk train station. Exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Markt' which will lead you through the main shopping streets. Once you reach the Markt square in Kortrijk, enjoy the view of the Belfry and the surrounding historical buildings. From the Markt, head towards the river (River Leie) and cross the bridge. Once across, continue straight until you see the signs for the bus station. You can catch a bus to Bruges from here.
Bus
From the Kortrijk bus station, take a bus towards Bruges. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance. Once you arrive at the Bruges bus station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the city center. Walk straight along the 'Stationstraat' until you reach the 'Zand' square. From there, take a right onto 'Korte Zilverstraat' and continue walking until you reach 'Burg 15', where De Burg is located.
Train
Alternatively, you can take a train from Kortrijk to Bruges. At the Kortrijk train station, purchase a ticket to Bruges. The train ride will take around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, follow the signs to exit the station. Head straight along 'Stationstraat', and then turn right onto 'Zand' square. Continue walking in the direction of the 'Burg' square. De Burg is located at 'Burg 15', approximately a 15-minute walk from the train station.
