    From the center of Leuven, head towards the Leuven train station (Station Leuven). Exit the square and walk straight down Diestsevest. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the train station. From the station, take a train towards Brussels and get off at the stop called 'Boitsfort' (approximately a 20-minute ride). Once you exit Boitsfort station, follow the signs towards Sonian Forest, which is just a short 15-minute walk from the station. Follow the road called 'Avenue du Parc' until you reach the entrance of Sonian Forest.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in the city center of Leuven. Start from the central square (Oude Markt) and head towards the 'Mechelsestraat'. Continue straight on this road, which will lead to the outskirts of the city.
