Walking
From Guillemins train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenue des Combattants. Turn left onto this avenue and walk straight. As you walk, you'll see the beautiful architecture of the area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard du 12ème de Ligne. Turn right onto Boulevard du 12ème de Ligne. The Citadel of Liège is located a short distance ahead on your left. The walk should take approximately 20 minutes.

Public Transport - Bus
From Guillemins, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located just outside the train station. Take bus line 4 towards 'Sainte-Walburge'. The bus ride is about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Sainte-Walburge'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Citadel. Head up Boulevard du 12ème de Ligne, and you will see the Citadel on your right. Be sure to check for the latest bus schedule to plan your trip.
