Getting There

Bus
From the center of Louvain-la-Neuve, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Place de l'Université. Take bus line 152 towards Halle. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Halle - Hogebermweg' stop. From there, Hallerbos is a short 10-minute walk. Head south on Hogebermweg, and you will find the entrance to Hallerbos on your left.

Make your way to the Louvain-la-Neuve train station. Take a train towards Brussels and get off at the Halle station, which is about a 20-minute journey. Once you arrive at Halle station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Catch bus line 152 towards 'Halle - Hogebermweg' and get off at the 'Halle - Hogebermweg' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Hallerbos. Walk south on Hogebermweg until you see the entrance to the forest on your left.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Louvain-la-Neuve. Start by heading to the main road, Rue de la Station, and then follow the bike paths leading towards Halle. The route is approximately 10 km and should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Halle, follow the signs for Hogebermweg, and Hallerbos will be on your left.

Continue straight, following the signs toward Halle. The walk is roughly 11 km and will take about 2-2.5 hours.
