If you are in the city center of Mechelen, start at the Mechelen train station. Exit the station and head east on Haverwerf towards the main street, Molenstraat. Turn left onto Molenstraat and continue straight until you reach the Kruidtuin park. Walk through the park, which will lead you to the city square, Grote Markt. From Grote Markt, take the bus from the nearby bus stop (Mechelen, Grote Markt) to Brussels. Once you arrive in Brussels, follow the signs to Parc du Cinquantenaire, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

From Mechelen train station, take a train to Brussels Central Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Brussels Central Station, follow the signs to the Metro station and take Metro Line 1 or 5 towards Stockel or Hermann-Debroux. Get off at the 'Schuman' station. From Schuman, it is about a 10-minute walk to Parc du Cinquantenaire. Head northwest on Rue de la Loi towards Place du Luxembourg, then turn left onto Avenue des Nerviens, and finally turn right onto Parc du Cinquantenaire.
