Public Transport
From the Mechelen train station, take the train towards Brussels and get off at Halle station. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Halle station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside the main entrance. Catch bus line 154 or 160 towards 'Halle - Hogebermweg'. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Hogebermweg' stop, and you will find Hallerbos just a short walk down the road.

If you prefer to walk from Mechelen to Hallerbos, start at the Mechelen city center and head towards the Mechelen train station. From the station, you can walk to Halle, which is approximately 7 km away. Follow the 'Hogebermweg' signs along the route. It may take you about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach your destination on foot.

Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle in Mechelen and head towards Halle. Follow the designated bike paths northwest from Mechelen, which will lead you to Halle. This route is approximately 7 km and should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your speed. Upon reaching Halle, follow the 'Hogebermweg' signs to reach Hallerbos.
