Walking
If you are in the city center of Mechelen, start at the St. Rumbold's Cathedral (Sint-Romboutskathedraal). From the cathedral, head southeast on Cathedral Square (Cathedralplein) towards the Haverwerf street. Continue straight onto the Korenmarkt square and then turn left onto the Molenstraat. Follow Molenstraat until you reach the railway station. From there, take the train to Brussels Central Station (Bruxelles-Central). Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, exit and walk towards Rue Belliard. Turn right on Boulevard de l'Empereur, then left onto Rue Belliard. The House of European History will be on your right at number 135.

From Mechelen, head to the Mechelen Railway Station (Station Mechelen). You can take a local train towards Brussels. Look for trains going to Bruxelles-Central or Bruxelles-Midi. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, follow the signs to exit the station. After exiting, walk towards Rue Belliard, taking Boulevard de l'Empereur. Turn left onto Rue Belliard, and you will find the House of European History at number 135.
