From Mechelen city center, start at the Mechelen train station. Exit the station and head southwest on 'Stationsstraat' towards 'Klein Begijnhof'. Continue straight until you reach 'Grote Markt'. From there, walk towards 'Havenlaan' and take a left onto 'Havenlaan'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Kerkstraat'. Turn right onto 'Kerkstraat', which will lead you to 'Koningin Astridlaan'. Follow this road until you reach the 'Mechelen' bus station. From the bus station, take bus number 1 towards 'Braine-l'Alleud'. After approximately 35 minutes, disembark at the 'Lion's Mound' stop. The Lion's Mound is a short walk from the bus stop.

Begin at the Mechelen train station, where you can catch a train to 'Braine-l'Alleud'. Purchase a ticket to 'Braine-l'Alleud' station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Braine-l'Alleud', exit the train station and head towards the bus stop outside the station. Here, catch bus number 130 towards 'La Hulpe'. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the 'Lion's Mound' stop, which is a short walk from the landmark.
