From the center of Mechelen, head southeast towards the Mechelsestraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Brusselsesteenweg (N1). Turn left onto Brusselsesteenweg and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards the Sonian Forest. Once you reach the forest entrance, follow the paths marked for walkers.

Start at the Mechelen train station and head south towards the Mechelsestraat. Turn left onto Brusselsesteenweg (N1) and follow the bike lanes for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
