Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mechelen, head south on the Hoogstraat toward the Vismarkt. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Haverwerf. Turn left onto the Haverwerf and follow this road until you reach the Mechelen Railway Station. Once at the station, exit and head to the bus stop located just outside. Take bus line 1 (direction 'Mechelen Zeventoren') or line 2 (direction 'Mechelen Vrijbroekpark'). After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Vrijbroekpark' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight into the park, and follow the signs to the Vibroekpark Visitors Center.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Mechelen. Start at the Mechelen city center and head south on the Zandpoortvest. Follow the bike lanes that lead you to the Vrijbroekpark. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the park, follow the bike paths leading to the Vibroekpark Visitors Center, which is clearly marked.

• Public Transport

  From Mechelen, you can take a train to the nearby station of 'Mechelen'. After arriving, exit the station and transfer to bus line 1 or line 2. These buses go directly to the 'Vrijbroekpark' stop. The bus ride takes around 10 minutes. Once you disembark, walk straight into the park and follow signage to locate the Vibroekpark Visitors Center.
