Getting There

    From the center of Mons, head southeast on Rue de la Chaussée toward Rue de la Petite Église. Continue straight onto Rue de Nimy. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Avenue du Bon Air. Walk for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the train station, Gare de Mons. Take the train to Halle, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Halle station, exit and walk south on Rue de la Station. Turn right onto Rue du Cerf and then take a left onto Hogebermweg. Follow Hogebermweg for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Hallerbos, a beautiful national forest.

    From the Grand Place in Mons, walk to the closest bus stop, which is located near the Hotel de Ville. Take Bus 117 towards Halle. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Halle - Hogebermweg'. Once you get off the bus, walk straight for about 500 meters, and you will reach Hallerbos, known for its stunning bluebell woods.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct option, you can hail a taxi from any point in Mons. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Hallerbos, located on Hogebermweg in Halle. The drive will take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare will be around €30-€40.
