From the center of Mons, make your way to the 'Gare de Mons' bus station, which is located near the train station. Take Bus number 87 towards Braine-l'Alleud. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Goumont', which is the closest stop to Hougoumont Farm. From the bus stop, walk along Chem. du Goumont for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the entrance of Hougoumont Farm.

Train and Walk
Head to 'Gare de Mons' (Mons train station) and take a train towards Braine-l'Alleud. The train journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Braine-l'Alleud station, exit the station and head southwest on Avenue du Centenaire. Continue walking straight until you reach Chem. du Goumont. Turn left, and after about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Hougoumont Farm.

If you're in the central area of Mons, you can opt for a longer walk to Hougoumont Farm. Start at the Grand Place in Mons and head southeast towards Rue de la Chaussée. Continue walking on Rue de la Chaussée until you reach Avenue du Centenaire. Follow Avenue du Centenaire, which will lead you to Braine-l'Alleud. This walk is approximately 5 km and may take around 1 hour, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
