Train
To reach Oude Markt in Leuven from Namur, start by walking to the Namur train station, which is located at Rue de la Station 1, 5000 Namur. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Leuven. Trains to Leuven run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Leuven station, exit the train and follow the signs to the main exit. Once outside, head straight down the main road, which is called Diestsevest. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. Soon, you will see Oude Markt on your left. It is a large square surrounded by cafes and bars, perfect for a leisurely visit.

From Namur, you can take a bus to Leuven. Start by walking to the bus station located at Rue du Génie 1, 5000 Namur. Look for the bus line that goes to Leuven; you may find several options operated by TEC. The bus ride typically takes around 50 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at the bus station in Leuven, exit and walk towards the center of the city. Head straight on the street called Mechelsestraat, which will lead you towards the Oude Markt. It should take you about 15 minutes on foot to reach the square.
