From the city center of Namur, head to the bus station located at Avenue de la Gare. Take bus number 51 towards 'La Hulpe' and get off at the stop 'Tervuren'. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the entrance of Sonian Forest, which is well-signposted.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Namur. Head south towards the Meuse River and follow the riverside path until you reach the Ravel network. Follow the Ravel paths that lead towards the Sonian Forest. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your speed.

For those who enjoy walking, start from the Namur Citadel. Head down the path towards Rue de la Station and then take Avenue de la Gare. Continue walking south until you reach the bus station. From there, you can take bus number 51 as described above or enjoy a longer walk by following the river path towards the forest, which will take approximately 1.5 hours.
