If you are currently in Nieuwpoort, head towards the bus station which is located at the center of the town. From the bus station, take bus line 1 towards Brugge. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Brugge bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the city center. Head straight down the 'Stationsplein' until you reach 'Zuidzandstraat'. Continue walking straight until you reach 'Sint-Jakobsstraat'. Turn right onto Sint-Jakobsstraat and then take a left onto Sint-Jakobsplein. St James' Church will be on your left at Sint-Jakobsplein 1.

For a more active route, you can rent a bicycle in Nieuwpoort. Start by heading to the 'Nieuwpoort Marina' area and follow the cycling path towards the coast. Continue cycling along the coastline until you reach the junction for Bruges. Follow the signs for Brugge, which will lead you into the city. Once in Bruges, navigate towards the city center by following the signs. When you reach the 'Zuidzandstraat', turn onto Sint-Jakobsstraat and head towards Sint-Jakobsplein. St James' Church will be located at Sint-Jakobsplein 1.
