Board the bus and ride until you reach Ostend Railway Station. This journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once at Ostend Railway Station, transfer to train line S3 towards Kortrijk. Get off at the Ypres station. From Ypres station, you can take bus line 4 towards Zonnebeke. The bus stop is close to the railway station, and the bus ride to Zonnebeke will take around 20 minutes. Finally, get off at the 'Zonnebeke Kerk' stop. From there, it’s a short 15-minute walk to Polygon Wood; just follow Lange Dreve in the direction of the wood.

From Ostend-Bruges International Airport, proceed to the bus stop outside the airport and take bus line 1 to Ostend Railway Station. This journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Ostend Railway Station, board a train heading to Ypres. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Ypres station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop to catch bus line 4 towards Zonnebeke. Get off at the 'Zonnebeke Kerk' stop. From there, walk along Lange Dreve towards Polygon Wood, which will take around 15 minutes.
