From the station, walk straight down the 'Koninklijke Stallen' street until you reach the intersection with 'Strandstraat'. Turn right onto 'Strandstraat' and continue walking until you reach the beach. Once at the beach, follow the promenade heading towards the left (north). Continue along the beach promenade until you reach the end, then follow the signs towards the tram station. Once you reach the tram station, take tram line 1 towards 'Brugge'. After a scenic ride, get off at the 'Brugge' stop. From there, walk towards the 'Kruisvest' street and follow it until you reach 'Kruisvest 11', where the Koelewei Mill is located.

From Ostend, make your way to the local train station (Oostende Station). Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Bruges (Brugge). The train ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and turn left onto 'Havenstraat'. Continue straight until you reach 'Molenbrug' and cross the bridge. After crossing, turn right onto 'Kruisvest'. Walk along 'Kruisvest' until you reach number 11, where the Koelewei Mill is located. The total walking distance from the train station to the mill is about 10-15 minutes.
