Walking
If you are in the city center of Ostend, start at the Ostend train station (Station Oostende). Head south on Louisastraat towards the beach. Turn right onto the beach promenade (Zeilbootstraat) and continue walking west along the coast. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the end of the beach promenade. From here, turn left onto the main road (Wellingtonstraat) and walk towards the city center. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with Westerstellestraat. Turn right onto Westerstellestraat and continue to the main square (Markt). From the Markt, head west until you reach the historic center of Bruges. Walplein is located just a few blocks from the Markt, easily accessible on foot.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around Ostend. Start at the Ostend train station (Station Oostende) and head south towards the beach. Follow the coast on the bike path heading west for about 2 kilometers until you reach the end of the promenade. Turn left onto Wellingtonstraat and bike towards the city center of Bruges. Follow the signs for bicycles and keep heading straight until you arrive at the Markt in Bruges. From the Markt, it is a short ride to Walplein, which is located nearby.

From Ostend, you can take a bus to Bruges. Head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 1 or 6 towards Bruges. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the Bruges bus station (Station Brugge). From there, walk towards the city center. Head towards the Markt square, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once you reach the Markt, Walplein is located just a short walk away from there.
