Walking
If you are starting from the Ostend train station (Station Oostende), exit the station and head southeast on Koninginnelaan toward the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Zeedijk. Turn left onto Zeedijk and walk along the promenade for about 1 km until you reach the end of the beach. From there, turn right onto the first street (Hertstraat) and continue straight until you reach the Heilig-Hartplein where Heilig-Hartkerk is located. The church will be on your right.

From the Ostend train station, take bus number 1 (De Lijn) towards 'Oosteroever'. Get off at the 'Heilig Hartplein' stop, which is directly outside the Heilig-Hartkerk. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Ostend. Start from the Ostend train station, head southeast on Koninginnelaan and follow the same route as walking by turning left onto Zeedijk. Continue along the coast, which has bike lanes, and then turn right onto Hertstraat. The Heilig-Hartkerk will be on your right in Heilig-Hartplein.
