Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the beachfront promenade. Turn left onto the promenade and walk along the coast. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the main square, 'Wapenplein'. From there, head north on Vlaanderenstraat. The James Ensor House is located at number 27, just a short walk down this street.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Ostend train station and head west on Koningin Astridlaan. Continue straight until you reach the beachfront.
