If you're starting from the Ostend train station (Station Oostende), exit the station and head west on Koningin Astridlaan. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the beachfront promenade. Turn left onto the promenade and walk along the coast. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the main square, 'Wapenplein'. From there, head north on Vlaanderenstraat. The James Ensor House is located at number 27, just a short walk down this street.
