Getting There

Car
From Valkenburg, head northeast on the N590 road. Continue on the N590 for about 10 km until you reach the junction with the N281. Take the N281 towards Vaals. Follow the N281 for approximately 5 km, then take the exit toward Vaals. Continue straight until you reach Viergrenzenweg. Mount Vaalserberg will be on your left at Viergrenzenweg 232. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the season.

From Valkenburg, walk to the Valkenburg railway station. Take a train towards Heerlen and transfer at the Heerlen station to a train heading to Vaals. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vaals station, exit and take bus line 21 towards 'Vaals, Gemeentehuis'. Get off at the 'Vaals, Viergrenzen' bus stop, which is a short walk from Mount Vaalserberg located at Viergrenzenweg 232. The bus fare is approximately €2.50.
