Walking
If you are starting from the Ypres city center, head towards the main square, the Grote Markt. From there, walk straight down the street called 'Meenseweg'. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the Ypres railway station. Once at the station, take a train to Lille. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Lille station, exit the station and head towards 'Place de la République'. The Palais des Beaux Arts is a short 10-minute walk from the station. Just walk straight down 'Rue de Paris' until you reach 'Place de la République', where the museum is located.
Public Transport
From Ypres, make your way to the Ypres train station. You can either walk (approximately 20 minutes from the city center) or take a local bus to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Lille. The trains are frequent, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach Lille. After arriving at Lille station, follow the signs to the exit and walk towards 'Place de la République'. The Palais des Beaux Arts will be visible as you approach the square.
