Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Belize City Swing Bridge, head southeast along New Town Barracks Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with North Front Street. Turn left onto North Front Street and walk for about 10 minutes. Look for Stuart Alley on your right, and turn onto Stuart Alley. Fort George Bungalows will be located at 206 N Front St, just a short walk down Stuart Alley.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer to rent a bicycle, there are several rental shops near the Belize City Swing Bridge. Rent a bike for approximately $10-15 USD per day. From the rental shop, cycle southeast along New Town Barracks Street. After reaching North Front Street, turn left and continue pedaling for about 10 minutes. When you spot Stuart Alley on your right, turn onto it. Fort George Bungalows will be at 206 N Front St.

• Local Taxi

  You can easily catch a local taxi from various points in Fort George. Simply hail a taxi and inform the driver you want to go to Fort George Bungalows at 206 N Front St. The fare should be around $3-5 USD depending on your starting point. Taxis are usually available near popular areas like the Belize City Swing Bridge or the Tourism Village.

• Public Bus

  While public buses do not typically run directly to Fort George, you can take a bus from central Belize City to a nearby area. Board a bus heading towards the northern part of the city and ask the driver to drop you off near North Front Street. From there, walk to Stuart Alley, which is a short distance away. This bus ride should cost around $1 USD.
