If you have a rental car or your own vehicle, start from the center of Caracol. Head southeast on the main road towards the entrance of the Caracol archaeological site. Follow the signs for Xunantunich. After about 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the junction where you need to turn left onto Xunantunich Rd. Continue driving until you approach the Xuanantunich Hand Cranked River Ferry. Park your vehicle in the designated area before taking the ferry across the river. The ferry operates daily from 7 AM to 6 PM and costs approximately BZD 5 per person. Once across, continue on foot for about 10 minutes to reach the Xunan Western Tour Guide Association.

For those using public transportation, start from the main plaza in Caracol, where you can catch a local bus heading towards San Jose Succotz. The bus fare is around BZD 3 per person and buses typically run every hour. Upon arrival in San Jose Succotz, you will need to walk to the Xuanantunich Hand Cranked River Ferry, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The ferry costs about BZD 5 per person and operates from 7 AM to 6 PM. After crossing the river, walk 10 minutes to reach the Xunan Western Tour Guide Association.
