You will need to take a hand-cranked ferry across the Mopan River to reach the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, which are located just on the other side of the river. The ferry costs around BZD 5 (Belizean dollars) per person. After crossing, you can either walk the short distance to the ruins or take a local taxi if you prefer. The entrance fee to Xunantunich is BZD 10.
