Getting There

Car
If you are driving from San Ignacio, head east on the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) towards Belmopan. After approximately 16 miles (25 km), take the exit onto the Hummingbird Highway (Hwy 2) towards Dangriga. Continue on the Hummingbird Highway for about 3 miles (5 km) until you see a sign for Lemonal. Turn right onto the road leading to Lemonal, and follow this road for approximately 5 miles (8 km) until you reach the area known as JC52+MFG, where LEMONAL is located.

Public Transportation
To reach Lemonal via public transportation, start at the San Ignacio Bus Terminal. Board a bus heading towards Belmopan. This ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes and cost around BZ$2.50. Once you arrive at the Belmopan Bus Terminal, transfer to a bus heading to Dangriga. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Lemonal junction. This part of the journey will take around 20-30 minutes and cost approximately BZ$1.50. After getting off at the junction, you will need to walk about 1 mile (1.6 km) on the dirt road leading to JC52+MFG to reach LEMONAL.
