Car
If you are traveling by car from San Ignacio, head east on the George Price Highway (Hwy 1) towards Belmopan. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Spanish Lookout. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Spanish Lookout, turn left onto the road leading into the community. Follow the road for about 3 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to the Pancho Rojas - Sinkholes. The destination is located at coordinates 6W93+94, Spanish Lookout, which is a popular area for tourists.
Public Transportation
To reach Pancho Rojas - Sinkholes using public transportation, take a bus from San Ignacio to Spanish Lookout. Buses typically leave from the San Ignacio bus terminal and cost around BZD 2-3. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Spanish Lookout, you may need to hire a taxi or walk to reach the sinkholes, which are approximately 3 kilometers from the main bus drop-off point. Taxis in the area are common and usually charge around BZD 10-15 for a short ride.
