To reach Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary by car from Cayo District, start by heading east on the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway) towards Belize City. Drive for approximately 50 miles (about 80 kilometers) until you reach the junction with the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as the Northern Highway). Turn right onto the Philip Goldson Highway. After about 5 miles (8 kilometers), take the left turn onto the road leading to Crooked Tree. Follow the signs to Crooked Tree Village, and keep going until you reach the sanctuary at PFM7+W53. Ensure you have a map or GPS device since some areas may have limited signage.
