Car
If you are traveling by car, head south from San Ignacio along the George Price Highway (Hummingbird Highway). After approximately 20 minutes, take the exit towards the Caves Branch area. Follow the signs for St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park. The cave is located at the coordinates 17.1439° N, 88.6896° W. Once you arrive at the park entrance, there is a small fee of approximately BZD 10 per person for entry.
Public Transportation
To reach St. Herman's Cave using public transportation, take a bus from San Ignacio to Belmopan. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once in Belmopan, transfer to a bus heading towards the Caves Branch area. Inform the driver that you need to stop at St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park. The total cost for the bus journey will be approximately BZD 5-10. After getting off the bus, it is a short walk to the park entrance where you will need to pay a small fee of about BZD 10 per person to enter.
