Getting There

Car
From any location in Central Belize, head south towards the city of Belmopan. Follow the signs for Highway 1, which leads you towards Dangriga. After passing Dangriga, continue on the Southern Highway until you reach the junction for Placencia Road. Turn left onto Placencia Road, and follow it for about 18 miles. You will soon arrive in Placencia. Continue on Placencia Road until you reach Azura Beach, which is located along the beachfront.

If you are using public transportation, you can catch a bus from the bus terminal in Belmopan or Belize City. Look for the buses heading to Placencia. The ride will take approximately 3 to 4 hours and costs around BZD 20-25. Once you arrive in Placencia, you can either walk along Placencia Road towards the beach or take a local taxi for a small fee. Azura Beach is located along the main road, so keep an eye out for signs.
