Car
If you're traveling by car from anywhere in Coastal Plains, head towards the Southern Highway (Highway 1). Follow the signs for Belize City, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Once you reach Belize City, take the exit towards the city center and continue straight until you reach Regent Street. The Belize Tourism Board is located on Regent St. Look for a large sign indicating the center. Parking is usually available on the street, but be aware of any parking restrictions.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, catch a bus headed to Belize City from any bus terminal in Coastal Plains. The bus journey can take around 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Belize City bus terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main road. You can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local taxi (which costs around $5-10 BZD) to Regent Street. The Belize Tourism Board is located on Regent St, easily recognizable by its signage.
