To reach Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve by car from Coastal Plains, start by heading west on the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Drive for approximately 27 kilometers until you reach the junction with the George Price Highway. Turn north onto the George Price Highway (also known as Highway 1) and continue for about 25 kilometers. After passing through the town of San Ignacio, look for the signs directing you to the Mountain Pine Ridge area. Turn onto the Mountain Pine Ridge Road and follow it for another 18 kilometers. The reserve will be on your right at coordinates 16.956938, -88.979678.
